  1. Next time DO NOT TOUCH THE BIRD.

  2. alright calm down

i was in the same predictament before.

your doing alright for the young one.

make sure you checked that their is no broken wings or limbs.

let the bird out of the box, it might be frightened.

wen touching the bird DO NOT touch the bird w/ ur bare hand.

    DON"T over feed it.

don't pick it up as much because the hands might scare him.

(the little thing then big hands are coming not a good thing to do ) check up on the bird every 10 to 20 min and make sur eu bring the bird to the vet asap. good luck,+ u would be a good parent, if u are one already.

  3. DONT RAISE IT YOURSELF

that is the worst thing you could do because it will get used to humans to depend on and it will not ever be able to survive on its own so let it die, it is better than ruining its life, ask anyone

  4. You seem to being doing what you can...

put some shredded news paper near her in the box to keep her warm..

Now that you have touched the bird the Mama bird will not help her...and can not be left outside in the wild

get the little guy to the vet as soon as you can..

    good luck .

  5. Please find a licensed wildlife rehabilitator in your area to take care of the bird.  Different birds eat different things.  If you want the bird to live, get it to a rehabber immediately.

  6. Water and milk , keep it safe from mice .

Cereals will be ok. No coke , no sugar.

  7. If it's a feral bird, I'd recommend you to stay away from it as it can pass on many allergies (parasites, mites, worms, what-not) on to you. If you really want to keep it, the best option would be to take it to an avian vet -- yes, it's expensive for a stray but that's the best thing you can do.

If you want to feed it yourself, don't feed it any solid food! It won't be able to digest it and die of constipation! If it's eating solid food on its own it's already weaned and is not a baby.

Now, get some plain (no sugar added) oatmeal of a gravy-like consistency that is slightly above room temperature (between 25 to 30 celsius), and feed it to the bird using a modified spoon or syringe--the type you use for babies will be fine. For the modified spoon, bend the spoon's surface length-wise so it resembles (sort of) a parrots' lower beak.

Feed the formula to the bird everytime its crop (the wiggly pouch under its neck) is visibly deflated, so that means anywhere from 4-8 hours around the clock depending on the bird's age (you didn't mention it). But personally, I'd leave the bird open to a predator and let it go nature's way. I'm not sadistic or anything, but that's the most risk-free and natural thing to do (it's not like the bird is endangered).

    Hope that helps...
