  1. Keep chopin those worms.  That'll do it.

  2. Ohh, thats very young. Dont feed it chopped worms. They have bacteriea in them tha can kill them. Only mom can kill the bacteria. Go to the petstore in the bird Isle and get som Exact Handfeeding Formula for ALL birds. Some people are confused about the derections. So get some formula and mix it with some warm water until it is in a between soopy like but not too soopy consistancy. Only feed him this nothing else. Make sure that you get a heating pad and get a thin towel or washcloth and make it the shape of the nest andplace him in itover anothe washcloth. Then place a nother washcloth over the baby but so that ir can still breathe. They are very hard to care for expecially this young. Now when it starts to get bigger and able to walk/hop, then make the formula thiker and less soopy. He will eat the formula until he doesnt want it any more. But that will be some time away.

**** REferidgerate formula after use or it will spoil and you will warm it up for a couple seconds until i is warm, mix well****

It may be able to eat ion its own late in life, start to peck at things and stuff. When that happens you can feed him meaworms(CUT THERE HEADS OFF OR THEY WILL EAT ITS INSIDES), fruits, and vegges. also wild bird seed.

It doesnt need water since the formula already has it. Only when it is sitting on a perch it can have a bird waterer in a cage.

When he is older some fruits they prefer ar

    watermelon and bananas

    some veggies are

    carrots, celery

*** Cut Them in Tiny Pieses, all things like this***

  3. If the bird is fully feathered, it is most likely a fledgling and has left the nest on it's own and it's parents are caring for it. It is normal for birds to leave the nest before they can fly.   You need to replace it where you found it..preferably in a scrub or tree so it is relatively safe from predators, and the parents should come back to feed it.  If it is unfeathered...then look for a nest and if you can find it...replace it into the nest.  Do not worry about your scent being on the chick..birds have a very poorly developed sense of smell and will NOT reject a baby that has been touched.  If you cannot find a nest, get the bird to a local wildlife rehab for it's best chance of survival.  Also, keep in mind, it is illegal for you to try and raise this bird on your own.  Look for a rehab here:

Also, you should not attempt to feed this bird..not ALL birds eat worms..you may be doing more harm than good.

  4. i found a baby bird that couldn't open its eyes too so i went to petco and got a formula for baby birds. DO NOT feed it worms, it is bad for young birds. My advice is try to find a rehab center or animal hospital that cares for abandoned animals immediately! i wouldnt try and put it back with parents because it could be rejected. The bird I had died, professionals need to handle the bird.
