Question:

I found a baby fish in my tank?

i put it in a different tank so it would not get sucked in the filter or eaten so how do i take care of it now i want it to live

  4. Do you know what kind of fish had it?   Anyway you need to keep it isolated.  I find it hard to believe that the mother fish only had 1 fry.

    There were others I am sure and they were devoured by the adult fish in the tank.

    Anyway you need to keep it isolated and care for it as any other fish.  It needs a filtered tank and a tank heater plants are great for it to hide in, and this fish also will need to be fed. I use a flake fish food and roll it between my fingers so it breaks up into very small particals.    It does not need much food.
