  1. How old are you??? You need to tell an adult and give them the baby bird immediately. They will know what to do.

  2. I think your probably should have left it for the Mom bird to find.  Its probably too young to survive but I don't know.  Anyway, good luck.

  3. It is better to just take it to a bird center look in the phone book or online. Because baby birds are realy realy hard to take care of but I would look on the internet for caring needs b/c it needs to eat formula every 15mins I think. It also needs to be kept really warm I would put it on a blanket in a bowl so it can support itself under a light or a heater set to low.

  4. i agree with most of the other answers it probably wont live for much longer and if it does survive u need a licence 2 keep it like all native birds

    sorry and best of luck

  5. You shouldn't have taken it home in the first place. If you keep it until it's older, it's not going to know how to survive on it's own. And if you put it back right now, it's gonna die within a day or two because it needs it's mother, who isn't going to want anything to do with it now- it's got human scent on it.

It's a wild animal, it's illegal for you to keep it without a license.

The best thing to do for it right now, would be to take it outside, and kill it. Just hit it on it's head with a hammer.

That's not in-humane, bird owners do it with bird who are dieing.

Do not just put the bird outside, it's going to suffer.

If you don't want to kill the bird, call your vet, they'll give you the number to a local wildlife rescue person.

  6. Call your local vet. They can give you the number to a wildlife rescue center and you can take the bird there. It will most likeley die, even if you figured out what to feed it, because wild animals will die if they feel captured as a defence mechanism. This is a delicate situation, and only a wildlife specialist can ensure the bird's survival.

  7. I think it is dead. if you took it from camp, whenever that was, and it still hasn't opened it's eyes, it might be dead. did you see any signs of life from it?
