  1. Worms or bugs I guess.

  2. Kill it.

  3. You need to take it to a bird rescue center.  If you want it to live find one.

    EMERGENCY RESCUE INFO:

If you have found a bird needing assistance, please bring it to The Bird Rescue Center during our public hours.

If you have found a bird needing assistance after hours and can keep the injured bird overnight, please follow these instructions.

Do not give the bird food or water.

Place the bird on a towel in a cardboard box, cover the box with another towel and place it in a warm, dark, quiet place overnight.

In the morning, bring the bird to the Center.

Most are open 7 days a week.  Dont try and care for it yourself, get it to somebody in the morning that is trained.

  4. Get some baby bird feed from a pet store. It won't survive in the wild now that you have touched it and stuff. So just keep it as a pet or see if a pet store will take it. If you don't keep it, chances are that no one will. If it keeps flying, at least until it is older, you should trim its wings. You can learn to do this yourself, but I recommend having someone at a pet store do this the first time so that you don't hurt him. Birds like to have their cage covered at night. It helps them rest better. Make sure he has some water, too, and also grits and a coddle bone. You can find those things at walmart or wherever.

  5. worms?

  6. okay. get worms outside in the mud and take them live and show them to the bird. keep her around a blender so you can show her (like a mother bird) you're 'digesting her food'. get about 5 or 6 earthworms and blend them with about 6 sunflower seed or bird seed. when its done, put it in a tube and squeeze it into the babys beak. thats the way. :]

  7. You can try wet cat food diluted with water and fed with an eye dropper.

  8. SPCA...or eat it for dinner

if you want to feed it just get some worms....

  9. Gross but find some worms and chop them up fine and feed with a medicine dropper- just like it's mama-kinda

  10. dig some worms !!!

  11. If this bird was really 5-8 weeks old it would be flying around and barely dependent on it's parents at all and would not really be considered a baby and would pretty much resemble an adult.  If the bird is fully feathered, it is most likely a fledgling and has left the nest on it's own and it's parents are caring for it. It is normal for birds to leave the nest before they can fly. You need to replace it where you found it..preferably in a scrub or tree so it is relatively safe from predators, and the parents should come back to feed it. If it is unfeathered...then look for a nest and if you can find it...replace it into the nest. Do not worry about your scent being on the chick..birds have a very poorly developed sense of smell and will NOT reject a baby that has been touched. If you cannot find a nest, get the bird to a local wildlife rehab for it's best chance of survival. Also, keep in mind, it is illegal for you to try and raise this bird on your own. Look for a rehab here:

  12. Call the rspca if you're british if not call whatever is the equvalant where you're from (rspca - royal society for the prevention of cruelty to animals) and they'll collect it and look after it.  I had to do this when my neighbour found a kitten on the street :(

  13. Here is what you do first get a ten gallon plastic aquarium. You well also need a 60 watt bulb and a heat lamp. You well want to keep the temp in there at about 98 degrees. Go to pet-co or even walmart they carry baby bird formula I believe it is call exzact. If you can't find it , buy some baby rice and stage 1 baby food both veggie and meat. mix all together with filtered water you don't want it any hotter than 100 degrees. Take a sirange and tap the beak hold the head gently and slowly put food into beak when you are done be sure to clean out the beak with a paper towel to prevent a decaying problem in the beak.

  14. take it to a anime speshleest or a vet thats the best thing to do if for you and the bird

  15. Chopped up worms, flies and catepillars are the answer... I know it sounds nasty, but that's what mummy robin feeds her babies in the wild. Look for them under stones and dead leaves, then put them on a dish and chop them up with scissors. Feed them to baby using a pair of tweezers or just your fingers.

Feed baby a few worms every hour during the day time, or every half hour if you can manage.

Otherwise, keep him in a 'nest'.. an old ice-cream tub or shoe box with a towel for bedding should be ok. It can be a good idea to drip a little water down the sides of the box, since bird's nests are often rather moist in nature.

  16. I have tried to save several baby bird that have fallen out nests, but the were only a day or two old.  If the bird is that old and was found on the ground, its leg is either injured or broken or the its wing is injured or broken.

It most cases, injured birds that are not cared for by a professional will die in captivity.  Call your local Wildlife Conservation or a Vet School to help  save its life.

You probably will not find anything open that can help until Monday.  So try the baby formula with a seringe until Monday.

  17. Take it to a vet, I found a gallah on side of road, damaged, not mine, vet took it off my hands - no charge to me as it wasn't my bird

  18. if u have an operation wildlife by ur house or some other wildlife animal control in ur area.. take it there. they know whats best for it. after all, its a WILD animal. you can find these animal places in the phone book or googling onine.

but u shouldnt have picked hte baby robin up in the first place.. now when u let it back into the wild, its mother wont want it anymore. the baby could have been resting, waiting for its mother or something.

  19. the early bird gets the WORM right...birds eat worms so go and dig some up for him.

  20. go get mill worms or regular worms from a fishing place, if its too young to eat worms by itself then put the worms in a blinder or chop em up - good luck

  21. You should call animal services.

If it has already been a few days or weeks, it has probably gotten attached to you and thinks you are its mother.

Deff. call animal services so they can take proper care of it. (not that you arent, but i think it would be better if it had a more trained person to take care of it.)

  22. Milk helps thats wat i do. also call petco or your vet and get info.
