I found a baby robin outside it looks liek it got kicked out of the nest?

I took the bird in and well hes movin and chirpin sometimes can any of u tell me if hes sick or not b/c im sitll not shure he doesent open his mouth alot he will sometimes and yes i have fed him some lettuce so what should i do and how could you tell if a bird has soemhting like a bird flu?

You should either feed it wet cat food or soaked dry cat food and you may have to force it in the beginning then move on to bugs.  It is probably otherwise healthy.

If the bird is fully feathered, it is most likely a fledgling and has left the nest on it's own and it's parents are caring for it. It is normal for birds to leave the nest before they can fly.   You need to replace it where you found it..preferably in a scrub or tree so it is relatively safe from predators, and the parents should come back to feed it.  If it is unfeathered...then look for a nest and if you can find it...replace it into the nest.  Do not worry about your scent being on the chick..birds have a very poorly developed sense of smell and will NOT reject a baby that has been touched.  If you cannot find a nest, get the bird to a local wildlife rehab for it's best chance of survival.  Also, keep in mind, it is illegal for you to try and raise this bird on your own.  Look for a rehab here:

Now that you have touched it, the mother won't take it back. If you want to take care of it, you need to feed it like every three to four hours I think, I could be wrong on that. But Take a hotdog, crush it  since they have a  hard time breaking it up, and then put it in the back of their throat. Don't forget water.

Keep it warm, and under a light.

If you don't want to do all of that, take it to a local vet, shelter, or wile animal place. THey should take care of it.

go to the pet store tell them you have a stray bird(roben), they will find you a powder either in a can or a package. the innstructions will be in side. also you will need an eye dropper to feed him to food. Make sure its not to hot or it will burn the birds throat and if its too cold it will get stuck in its throat and he will dye!
