  1. Unless you live in a village where everyone is in each others pockets and knows everyone then no he wouldnt know. If I was in your situation I wouldnt think twice about whos it was, Id cash it and spend it straight away haha. You should do the same.

  2. I wouldn't risk it. As the previous posters have said, it could be viewed as a crime if you do try to cash it.

  3. I would consider that theft. I would hand it in to the bookies and see if they can trace the real owner.

  4. collect the money!!!

iits not theft you didnt steal it from someone you found it!!

  5. yea

  6. hand it in.....for that amount the person it belongs to will have filed a lost slip form at his bookmakers. there will be a "stop"on it...

when you go to collect it ,it is the same as presenting a stolen credit card........result you will be arrested

  7. The person who lost it has probably reported it,,,and is making a claim,,,its stealing by finding,,,,

  8. Finders keepers loses weepers as they say i would keep it and cash it in it's not stealing unless you took it out of their home mate.

  9. if i was you i would'nt return it because it was proberlly one of those betting addicts so u no

  10. if its a chain bookie cash it in at another branch

  11. Nonsense.  Cash it in and collect the money.  If the person was foolish to misplace their winnings, it's tough luck.  With the amount of people that go into the bookies where you live on a daily basis, do you really think they remember each and every person's bet and who put the bet on?  Of course not.  They would be none the wiser.

  12. Is it hand written?

If you lose a slip you can go into the shop you placed it at

(it's probably scanned to all shops anyway.)

They would check your writing style and ask when you placed the bet and if satisfied , they'll  pay out.

So there is a chance that slip has been claimed, especially as it's a biggie.

If they asked questions would you keep lying?

    Lots of CCTV in bookies!

Hand it in and be honest,or phone the bookies company.

Better a pleasant suprise than  a nasty awakening!

  13. How is this stealing? If you found £130 you would keep it.

I found a lotto ticket on the street, had it scanned at the local newsagent and got a tenner.

So keep it and enjoy it.

  14. The real winner probably already filled in a lost receipt form and got their money, but go trying, it's worth a try.

  15. as in another post if you live in village hand it in if city go cash it in

  16. Someone must have dropped it without knowing. You could always ask the betting shop if anyone lost a ticket. If no one owns up to it for a period of time, it is yours anyways.

When you spend the money you will be happier, than if you kept someone else's winning.

    Honesty pays at times.

  17. Make the easy decision...... make £130

The bookies won't know who's it is and if they did they wouldn't care
