I'm trying to determine its age. It has very orange eyes. It looks like in a kitten. It acts like a kitten. My mom has said that she thinks the kitten may be 6 months or older. But I have someone that thinks it may be her cat though it may be a stretch because of the distance it would have had to travel and her cat was 9 years old. I took some photos and I've been studying them. I can't tell. Should I look at its teeth? It's not in heat. I think it's younger than 6 months or she's been spayed or neutered. It's very well-behaved. It's friendly and affectionate. It was a little shy and skiddish at first but has come around. It is not bothered by the dog just a little wary. I can't bring it to the vet until 8/15 and I have an appointment at 8/16. I'm just looking for some additional guidance. I hate to get this woman's hopes up if there is little chance it is her cat. It is a stretch for sure. Her cat had green eyes. I have a persian and her eyes seem to change from green to orange. She's black. This is a tiger long haired cat. It's like it's legs are a little too big for its body. It has a small head. Its tail is long and bushy.

  1. When you take her to the vet the vet can determine its age, gender, spayed or neutered, and breed. Just ask. Don't tell too much about the cat to the woman until you have her checked out by a vet. You don't want to give her the wrong information. And be sure you know all about what the woman's cat looks like, etc. Before you let her know all about the cat you found. The woman could lie and say that your cat is hers if you let her know first. Just be cautious. Good luck.
