you're probably scaring it

caterpillars will stop eating when they are shedding off and old skin.  Then they are ravenous again!  Make sure it's not cold and it has the appropriate food for the type of caterpillar it is.  It also might be getting ready to pupate!

Whats your problem! Dont keep a caterpiller thats mean.first of all its probably dieing or your scaring it half to death!

its probably in shock he shold kick out of it soon but if he doesnt try to put him in a cold room with the lights off it will relax it
