I found a chinese phone I like on line

It supports 900/1800 mhz could i put my cingular SIM card in it to work here in the US? Thank you

IN US the the frequency used is around 1900 MHz. A lot of mobile phones are designed to work in other countries and are either "dual band", meaning they work on 900 MHz and 1800 MHz networks, or "tri-band", meaning they can work on 1900 MHz networks as well.

So you have to check wheather it can work in US or not as Chinese non branded cells are not that reliable.
