  1. Waffenfabrink is the name, it means gun maker in German. Bern is the city in Germany. 217704 should be the production #. not sure about the m.81.

    Check out this site, theres a number that you can call so maybe they can help you out with more info. looking at the site, these things are high dollar rifles. You may have found a treasure to hang on to.


  2. HE HE HE, yep, it does smell like a Mauser.

  3. It smells like a Mauser 98 but need pictures to confirm.

    Look at gunbroker and search for Mauser 98 see if it looks similar.
