I found a live black bug today in my burger in burger king, what do i do?

hi everyone,

i found a live small black cockroach in my burger in burger king today, i gave it back and they returned my money and the manager filled a form and said sorry would u like anything else to eat! i tried to find a email or something to complain to the head office but the only thing burger king have in their website is their menue! i feel more should of been done? what do i do?

Hate to say it, but if it was me I'd shrug it off, but let the chain know that it happened at that particular Burger King so they can harp on the management. I'd make it clear that I was not interested in taking it any further...unless you're into months of red tape, negative publicity, and going broke.

contact environmental health or threaten the manager with this action, tell him you want to speak to head office. If they still ignore you tell them you are gonna go to your local press.  They will dread this and will probably pay for your silence.  They have procedures for this type of thing. was it a small bug or a whopper?!!! let us know how you get on!

you should had take a picture and then send it to a national paper or other c**p newspaper who love that kind of story!!!!! or you could have done a deal with BK, and let you paid a big amount of money to not to say anything to the paper!!!!

Hopefully they didn't charge any extra for the additional protein, oops, that's a joke.

It's not a funny situation. Bugs DO get into food once in a while in spite of all precautions.  Accept their apology, ask for a RAIN CHECK on a replacement meal for a few months from now,  and look up the head office of BK on the internet, send them a note about the occurrence.  Much of the food is shipped IN from the franchise system head office supply.
