I found a lost iPod!

Question

I found an iPod on the street, and I don't know who it belongs too. I plugged it into my computer and it said: "Peter's iPod". So I know that it belongs to a Peter. I live in a really small town, so I'm sure I'll find the owner. But how? Do you have any ideas?

What should I do?

Sell it on Ebay?

hand it in to the police station and they will probably tell shop owners to ask the 'peters' if they have lost an ipod, and to name songs on it and stuff... ya could sell it on ebay, i suppose if ya wanted, but if i lost my ipod i wud b propper gutted, n wud b grounded 4 about 2 years

I suggest you just ask around your town, or ask peters you know. Don't sell it on ebay though, if no-one owns it, then just keep it, and if you don't want it put it in the lost and found.

Don't sell it! Why not take it to the police station to see if anybody claims it?

do NOT sell it on ebay that is someone's ipod! do you know any peters? if you do ask them if they lost their ipod. or wherever you found it put it in the lost and found. hope this helps, bye!
