I found a maggot on my kitchen floor today, My house is far from dirty I can not find anymore.....?

I have looked for a nest of these ucky bugs and have had no sucess but I am little bit creeped out that I found one. Is it common that I would find just one or is there a whole nest of them somewhere that I cant find! Please help this gives me the willies

I found what looked like a maggot in some cherries I was washing.  It is possible one came in on fruit or veggies that you brought home.

It could have been dropped of your shoe...you could have stepped somewhere that had those and carried it back to your house. I know I would be freaking out to, I hate bugs.

Just keep an eye out for trash and flies around the house, cause of course maggots come from flies or vise versa and they generally are found in nasty trash or old food.

put some bug killer on the floor and get that bug replent that you see on tv that you plug into the wall. i hear it works realy well
