I found a motivational poster of cthulhu.. and i was wondering?

i was wondering...

what does it mean 1d6? and what is 1d6 investigators per round?

There is a Dungeons & Dragons-like game called Call of Cthulhu, were all the players are "investigators."  The "1d6" means, "one six-sided die."  These are regular dice, like the ones you would play craps or most board games with.

So they are essentially saying, "Cthulhu eats one to six investigators per round."
