I found a naked picture of my cousin on my computer? What do I do?

About a week ago, when my cousin came over from Germany, she kept asking me how to upload pictures onto the computer. I showed her how to insert the memory card and she was on the computer for a while. Today (actually, it's midnight, so yesterday) she left back for Germany. About half an hour ago I deleted a file, and I went to the recycle bin to re-delete it. I then saw naked pictures. They didn't have a face, but they were titled my cousin's name. They were really small in the recycle bin, and my curiosity urged me to restore and open them. Then I stopped myself. I would hate it if someone looked at MY nude pics. (not that I have any) I'm really curious, though...And my cousin isn't like me. I don't even like being touched, but my cousin can, like, change in front of people, and not just in locker rooms. She tries on shirts in front of people She has a bra on then but still. I'm really curious, and it IS my computer. Do you think I have the moral right to look?

You have the power and ability, but absolutely no moral right, to look.  You can rationalize all you want but it doesn't change the fact that if she had wanted you to see the picture, she would have shown it to you.  Unless you want to rationalize this some more and say that she left it on your computer on purpose, you are considering whether or not to take advantage of your cousin's mistake to satisfy your curiosity.

why  would  you  think  she  FORGOT when it  was  she  that  uploaded  them  you your  computer  in  the  first place. .

don't look any further...........................but mention to your cousin that you didn't like her actions on your computer............... and tell her you'd not allow her to use your computer if she doesn't see the error of her ways.......... BUT she may also not like the idea that you looked into a file that was in the recycle bin she thought she had deleted ............

It is your computer, look if you want to.  She shouldn't have used your computer for nudity without you knowing.  Maybe E-mail them back to her.  She will realize her mistake.

I think you have every right to look. it is YOUR computer. If she didn't want anybody to see them, she ..

a) shouldn't have taken them and

b) should have done it on her own computer!!

Well, even though she did use your computer, she could have accidentally forgotten to delete them so to be honest i don't think you should look at them. +the fact that it's your cousin that's nude makes it a little more.. yeah.

But that's just my opinion.

well  over there, germany, nude is ok. they have nude on normal tv comerical. she is used to the lifestyle over there. in germany nude is PERFECTLY fine. so dont worry

You have the right to look because it's your computer but she probably wanted to keep it private if she put them in her own file.
