I found a new born ground hog.

Question

I have a new born ground hog and I don't know where it's mother or den is.

It's really hurt and I don't know what to do, any help?

Take it to the vet. and I don't know if this is true for ground hogs but some animals once the baby is touched a human or something the mother wont take care of it.

I would call your vet and ask them what to do.

I would either call the vet or the wild life controll in your area.But the vet would probley no what to do.

Well, nurse it back to health, and then give it to the humane society thing...try feeding it rabbit food.

i really think you should take it a vet because if you dont it will probably die.i deppeans on when you found it so you should take it to a vet or a animal adoption center.

Well, i would take it to the vet to make sure it will be fine until the mother finds it! then if he/she will put it back where you found the baby. Good luck!
