    No I haven't tried it. Doubt I will. I  try to avoid "flavor of the month" drinks like this. Tend to be all hype and flash...no substance to back it up.

  9. the tequilla/vodka drink? looks good, but never had it.

You may not realize it but in the past when a good brand of whiskey was stretched by the manufacturer by adding vodka aka "pure grain neutral spirits", it went from a good blend or straight whiskey to  what we in the trade refer to as "rot gut" because it will allow you to get more at a cheaper production cost but it will be more likely to inflame your stomach liner which "is what causes ulcers, aka open sores, in your stomach.

    Now while your stomach liner is still intact, you think you have found something to increase your buzz while not busting your pocket book.

    Well; when you start buying Maalox or thick cream to supplant your ingestion of this spirit you  will notice the savings will dwindle.

    In the whiskey world, Kessler's and Beam 8 Star, and Canadien Mist are examples of stretched" whiskeys.

    They are produced so that those with less money can drink blends similar to Jim Beam and Seagrams V.O. but at less cost, but at greater risk down the road.

    If you drink "Top Shelf" your stomach will last a little longer but if you mix it with tap water it will last even longer.

    Either way I will save you a seat at my AA meeting.
