I found a parrot and want to know what it is?

i found a stray bird and it is all green with a long tail.... its a normal parrot size and the top of its beak is red and the bottom part is black. it also has a yellow kind of ring around its eyes. can you tell me what type of parrot it is?

What you have found is an Indian Ring-necked Parakeet,

Do you live in the South of England as at present they are breeding(in the wild) and you could have found a young bird.

They make good pets if you are prepared to keep it.
