I found a phone?

Hi. I found a phone today, and the person has not called for it yet and the battery is almost dead. I think it is an iphone, but i'm not too good with phones. Anyway, I wish I had not picked it up because now I have to waste my time to return it to the person when they were the ones who were not careful with it, anyway, if this person doesnt call and the battery runs out what should I do? I sure as h**l am not going to buy a charger for it and wait for the person to call.

check there contacts for one that says "home" or "mom" or "dad" or something along those lines.

call it and say that you found they're cellphone..

trust me, its a good idea.

try to check the phone book for any of the following

home

house

wife

work

family

etc...

if not, dial the last number called, and ask them if they know who the phone belongs to, and let them know how to get in touch with you..

as you are a good samaritan in wising to return the phone to its rightful owner, you should not make it an inconvience in your schedule, find a time that is convenient for you to meet up with this person to return the phone to them..
