I found a problem with the Mercy Children's Clinic, but can you help me with a solution?

So i looked at the Mercy Children's Clinic website and i discovered that they need a lot of basic things from medicines to clothes to toys. I need to come up with an innovative way to gather these products, instead of just asking people to donate.

Clothes and toys are often available on freecycle just for going and picking them up (go to main yahoo page, click groups, do search for freecycle in your area.

For other things there is a celebrities' kids  hand me down auction going right now to raise money for certain charities I think on ebay.  Something similar could be done locally or regionally with local or regional celebs donating baby items.    You could also have a rock-a-thon in a local baby or kids store or mall  with ppl donating money for each hour rocked.  To make it more specific to your cause the rockers could be holding dolls that represent sick or hurt babies and kids.  There are also plenty of opportunities for charity walks,bike rides, soft ball games, car washes etc.  Check with the hospital before raising money in their name. Most have rules and laws they have to follow and also have ppl who will help you help them.
