I found a small lizard in my bathroom....

Question

I live in San Antonio, TX and we found a small lizard in our bathroom this morning. The lizard is orangish brown with rings on its tail. It is VERY tiny...maybe a baby lizard. It's probably no longer than a quarter. Does anyone know what this is? What species, what it eats, where it came from? Thanks!

maybe a type of gecko. is it able to stick to surfaces? i was in san antonio not too long ago and saw one on a wall.

sorry im not very good with american lizard species but if your considering keeping it i really wouldnt many lizards die from the stress of captivity and those that survive tend to have shorter lifespans and stress related illnesses and behavior disorders
