I found a snake in a box of fruit from the dominican republic could any body help ??

Poor snake, is it alive or dead? if it's alive you should call the rspca or what ever animal control works where you live. The snake will be too cold but may be dangerous too so don't try to catch it. Good luck.

now this  snake could be dangerous ring the rspca and get it checked  before touching it as u dont know what type it is now dont wait for answers just call them they will come straight out

sell it snakes ar no gooders or keep it or give it to the vet and tell them the prob

Call the local animal control people, they will turn it over to your government department for agriculture, fisheries and farming (or it equivilent).

Do not release it into the wild.

If it is dead still call the animal control as the government likes to keep tabs on foreign species found in their country.

whatever you do DONT let it out into the wild, if you can without putting yourself in danger, put a large box, tub, anything over the snake so it cant get away and phone the rspca immediatley who will come and collect the poor snake, good luck

Could you describe the snake? I have heard of eyelash vipers being found in boxes of bananas more than once. They are a venomous snake. Fortunately though, they aren't found in the Dominican Republic, if that's where they were originally boxed up.
