I found a strange looking bug in the house about nickel size with 6 stubby legs & blue/gray body w no wings?

This bug was found in the kitchen and has 6 very short legs compared to its body. Bug has rock like body, but looks like a very soft shell

it's a shot in the dark, but it could be a form of carpet beetle. I put a link to a picture of one. I think there are others that look different.
