  1. Take it to a non-kill shelter or an emergency vet clinic.

  2. Is the kitten hurt or in immediate need of a vet?  If yes, find an emergency vet in your area and take it in if you can.

Since you want to keep her you need to feed her and keep her warm and dry.

What you feed her will depend on how young the kitten is.  Do not feed it cow's milk.  If you can find some at the store, use milk replacement designed for kittens.

An old family recipe we have used for years with very young strays: 1 egg, small amount of Karo syrup, warm (not hot) water mixed together.  We use this only until we can get some milk replacement. Use an eye dropper or baby bottle.  Sometimes they will l**k the food off your fingertip but it all depends on how old the kitten is.  Good luck and get it into a vet when you can to be sure there are no problems.

  3. Love him forever, feed him, give him water and comb him, he might have fleas. If he appears ill, locate an animal hospital in your area (yellowpages) =^..^= Almost forgot, if he is too young to eat, get kitten formula and an eyedropper at wal mart and follow the directions on the can.

  4. I was so happy to hear you're keeping her...you are my kind of person.  It will love you unconditionally!

  5. i would call the humain socity and tell them what condiion it is in then they will tell you what to do with it

  6. I think that you should make her a little bed and give her some food and water (remember cats are lactose intolerant milk is VERY bad for them) when the vets office opens again take her in for a check up and have her vaccinations done (if they haven't been done already). What are you going to name her? (thats the best part of getting a new kitten, apart from the kitten itself)

  7. take the kitten to an animal clinic or shelter.  they will take her in.

  8. keep it in an empty room for now (:

  9. feed it, water it, and give it a litter box.

as soon as the vets office is open bring her in for shots, make sure she's ok, etc.

    good luck.

  10. just keep it for a while, keep it from going back onto the streets. if you dont plan on keeping it, make sure you give it to a non-kill shelter, or give it to one of your friends who want a cat or something. make sure no one around your naborhood is nissing a kitten.

  11. Feed it for tonight, if is still a baby get a baby bottle and baby kitten formula for kittens, there are many available in walmart and other stores in the pet section. Don't give milk, sometimes will cause diarrhea. If is not a baby kitten you might give some meat ( check how big the teeth are, to see if can handle meat), also water of course. Get a box or the laundry basket if you have any, and put a towel in it to make a provisory bed, so it can sleep there, and be prepared to clean after the little one for tonight, since is best to keep it indoors ( it will run if you try to take it outside to potty).

Hope it helps and that the vet office can help you tomorrow. If not, check for animal rescue non profit organization in your area, they might know where you can give it for adoption. Also pet stores sometimes offer adoption programs, check this site http://adoptions.petsmart.com/. Best wishes :)

  12. Almost every cat or kitten I've had or have, has been a stray. I said I would never take in a stray. I want to say that they make the best pets. They give us so much joy. Just wait until the vet office opens and you can talk to them about it. You've said you're keeping her so you've already made one decision. It doesn't cost that much for the first shots etc. You won't regret it. Best wishes.

  13. keep it until whenever its open

    and take it there :]

or to the pound or somewhere

    i wouldnt just keep it

it could be someones cat that they love..

  14. well i would say bring it to a kennel or keep it until the vets office opens. when i found a stray dog. i kept it until my vets office opened.give the cat milk.

  15. If you can't or don't want to take care of it then find another vet or somebody that will take care of the cat properly.
