I was walking down the street and found all these papers scattered on the ground. The one that caught my eye was obviously the title to a car. I grab it. Sure enough thats what it was. I grab the surrounding papers. The registration-insurance papers, repair documents, all sorts of stuff.

I call a number on one of the papers and tell the people what i found. I called from a phone booth. They said that the car had been broken into. But then they started questioning me as if i had something to do with it which kind of pissed me off. I explained in a nice manor that i only found the stuff and was trying to do a good deed. I have their address, should i mail this to them?

They originally wanted me to "meet them somewhere" to turn the stuff over. I told them no, i told them i would drop it off at a license place or even police department or in the mail....they said just mail it.

Should i even bother? They kind of pissed me off the way they acted.

  3. go to police station and hand in or sod em and burn em just hope they dont think you stole car. tell ya some people just dont know common decency

  4. i would mail it.do your good deed you will be rewarded two times fold from the man upstaires.don't let the way they acted bother you.your doing the right thing just know that.

  5. just go drop it out in the street as if u had never picked it up, just because they were jerks to you

  6. Just take the title to the dmv or call the state dmv for their address & mail it in w/o giving your name. They'll return it. To heck with the people if they have attitude. But don't lower yourself to the fact they are being buttheads. You can still be nice even if they refuse to.
