I was just in bed on my laptop when I saw it crawling on the front of my duvet, I spazzed and out got a tissue and put it straight in the toilet! I really don't like bugs/insects, just don't, what are the chances that there are more in my room and especially in my bed? I'm not a dirty or unhygenic, I'm pretty clean and tidy, why was it there in the first place?

  1. If it is in fact a small beetle, then you needn't worry.  It was probably alone.  However, bed bugs look like small beetles.  If you have itchy insect bites, then that's what it is.  You can buy some spray for your mattress to treat it.

  2. Maybe it was the baby out of whole bigger family living in your mattress!!

  3. its probably just come in from outside....there probably are bugs and things that you are unaware of closer than you think but i dont think you need to worry about loads appearing in your bed....its probably just a one off.

  4. Its the time of year to find all sorts of creepy crawlies in your house, it will have come in from your garden!!! nothing to worry about!

  5. More than likely it was 'lost' - just passing through.

  6. Hard to say (?),but dont panic.

Put lace - - mesh curtains on windows & door.

Keep an eye to detect repeat happenings.

Spray the room ,/the bed /the room furniture/spring clean the wardrobe./hang- moth- balls in the wardrobe.

    cheers.

  7. I think there are more to come.

What you splatted, was a baby beetle, and his mom, dad, and big brothers are coming to get you......................tonight!!!!
