I found a weird orangish bug!?!?Pleaase help!

I was in my room and heard a bug buzzing around. When i looked at it, it was orangish and it kind of glowed form the inside out. It kind of looked like a bee but definitely wasn't one. It was really creepy. I'm trying to find out what it is, i cant sleep until i do!!! PLEASE HELP ME!

  1. maybe a firebug consult a zoology departement at a college , botany is for plants not animals
