  1. worms, bugs (don't do bettles), and seeds!

buy bird seeds at any store!

P.S. If you want the bird to live, if I were you, I would take the bird to a wildlife shelter (go on the internet and looks for places that will take in wild animals). If it isn't taken care of properly, it'll die.

  2. Is this an adult or a baby?  If injured it needs to go to a  wildlife rehab in either case.  If a baby please follow these instructions:

If the bird is fully feathered, it is most likely a fledgling and has left the nest on it's own and it's parents are caring for it. It is normal for birds to leave the nest before they can fly.   You need to replace it where you found it..preferably in a scrub or tree so it is relatively safe from predators, and the parents should come back to feed it.  If it is unfeathered...then look for a nest and if you can find it...replace it into the nest.  Do not worry about your scent being on the chick..birds have a very poorly developed sense of smell and will NOT reject a baby that has been touched.  If you cannot find a nest, get the bird to a local wildlife rehab for it's best chance of survival.  Also, keep in mind, it is illegal for you to try and raise this bird on your own.  Look for a rehab here:

  3. I would say worms or bird food.  You can bring it to a no kill shelter where they will nurse it back to health and let it back into the wild.  Do your research on the place before going there though.

  4. Worms, bugs, and berries.

I would bring it to an avian vet or a no-kill wildlife shelter where they would nurse it back to health.

  5. This bird needs to go to a vet who accepts injured wildlife call around. Or you can take it to a rehabber in your area. They do not do good in captivity. Also it is against the law for you to keep it and could lead to huge fines. The wing is probably broken and will need a splint or a wrap. but until you can take it they eat earthworms, mealworms and fruit. Fruit being blueberries, raspberries. Break up small. cut worms in half. Is this a baby or adult? Baby or a youngster will have some spotting on its breast adult will not. Put a very shallow small dish of water in container also.

  6. Worms mostly and bugs.

You need to pretend to be it's Mother. Dangle the worm from your mouth over the birds beak so it hangs straight down and the bird can eat it easily.

As for the bugs, you will have to chew them first, and more or less spit them into the birds beak.

    Robins don't eat much seed.

    Good luck.
