I found an old top loading Army duffel bag that is missing the hasp. How else can I close it?

Tie a heavy duty cord (parachute cord works well and doesn't fray - you can find it in surplus stores) through the grommets, or, if you really need to secure the duffel bag, you can use a small bicycle chain and lock.
