I found an oval shaped burgundy pill with 7114 on it!

Question

I was looking through my old computer bag which was in my little sisters room who is 16 by the way and stumbled across a pill that is unfamiliar to my knowledge. If someone knows anything please let me know as soon as possible. I used to have a problem back in the day however.. I could just be worrying over nothing ya know? I am just really protective over my little sister trying to make sure she isn't doing anything I did or worse.

Take it and then write back and let us know what happened.  Hopefully it wasn't a Flintstones Childrens Chewable Arsnic tab.

Go to drugs.com and click on pill identifier.

I have found out a lot of things from them.

It is not a listed prescription drug on drugs.com or in my physician's reference.  This suggests it's over the counter; I agree that it sounds like generic advil.  

I suggest you ask her what it is.  If she says generic advil, she's telling the truth (she won't know that's what you're expecting).  If she says anything else, be suspicious and take additional steps to identify the pill - check with a pharmacist or MD.
