I found him with weed. help!!!!!!!

i was in my house when i just let my dog, scruffy, inside when he had a huge mouthful of weeds!!! i took it out and told him that was a bad thing to do. then i found him in the yard the next day eating more weeds. what should i do?

Okay, what you need to do is sound aversion. (I saw this on a TV show on Animal Planet)

Every time your dog Scruffy eats or tries to eat some weeds out of the yard, try yelling really loud or getting a foghorn or something that is really loud.

Eventually, Scruffy will know that eating weeds means hearing that sound, and for some reason dogs don't like loud noises.

Don't reward him with treats or anything like that, just do that sound thing.

A lot of animals do that to force regurgitation. There's nothing that a couple of weeds can do to a dog but make him barf. Keep him outside for a day see what happens.

You are talking about the dog , right ?????

If it's the dog you are talking about , don't worry about it , he is probably lacking some thing in his diet that he is getting from the weeds .

I have also heard that animals will do this when they are not feeling well .

Honestly though , you have nothing to worry about .

Don't punish him for some thing that comes natural to him .
