I found i funny bug?

Question

i found tiny tiny bug on the wall ... it kinda looked like a furry chocolate sprinkle with a light brown stirpe in the middle....ive seen them everywhere :| .... what kind of bug was it and why was it there??

If it looks like a furry grain of rice, it's probably dermestid beetle larvae.  The larval form is very destructive, they eat grains and natural fibers.  If you've got lots, you've got a problem somewhere.
