There was some water spills from the sink under there. How did they get there or where did they come from? I don't smell anything dead so I'm wondering where or what did they come from or why? Could it be from mold?? my kitchen is always really clean What caused them?

  1. Scoop them up and throw them away.  They can't come back, because they're just fly larvae.  They got there because a fly laid its eggs there.  Flies will lay their eggs in just about anything that can provide food for the larvae...it could have been the wood rotting from the water, or a single piece of garbage that fell out of the can...just about anything.

Just use your dustpan to scoop them up, and wipe down the surface where you found them.  That should be the end of the problem.

  2. Clean the area with bleach water and keep it dry. It should be fine.

  3. one other possibility..if by chance you have stored dog treats ..dry pet food or other foods made from grains, they may be the larvae of Indian Meal Moths

  4. 3in1 oil will kill them, i was told this is what they use on bodies who are decomposing. hope it helps
