I have a six digit password. After typing in the first 2 digits

a " press send for emergency call" message pops up.

After it pops up I press back and I'm able to type 2 more digits, than it does the same thing. I mean it works perfectly, is just that d**n annoying message.

WHAT CAN I DO?

  1. if youre able to log the passowrd in and get in to the phone i suggest you either turn off the lock , change the password or reset the phone

to turn off the lock you go to options>security>general settings>password and disable it>exit>enter old password>exit

then now you can change it go to  options>security>general settings>password and enable it>exit>enter new password>exit

if you want to reset it , go to  options>security>general settings>options>wipe handheld>continue

from there it will prompt you on what to do

make sure content protection is disabled

    options>security>general settings>content protection>DISABLED

if you cant get into it call your carrier

  2. Take it to the store in which you originally got it and donate it... Let them know that they sent you another and you feel absolutely horrible... Apologize and run...don't walk out of the store.
