  1. Many people are complaining of this problem.

If contacting them doesn't work -- and the info is wrong --

seek out information from your state Attorney General. -- It may take more than one complaint, but more are sure to occur.

Also there are citizen advocates within local/state congressional offices. This would apply to errors, not simply producing public records which they have the right to do.

    About the site and complaints:

  2. its a record you cant change it unless you are under 18 and pay alot of money

  3. Contact the Dept. of Motor Vehicles, and tell them you need to get the traffic violation removed from your driving record.

You'll have to pay any outstanding fines and will also have to pay a fee to have the "flag" removed.

  4. Contact them.  As stated on their site:

All of our information is public domain and is presented "as is". This data is collected electronically and errors do occur. If you feel something has been reported in error please contact us and we will address.

There is no address listed, email or otherwise on the site.  But I would send an email to: info@criminalsearches.com

That usually gets thru on most sites.

  5. I wouldn't worry about it calling you a criminal at least.  People tend to overlook this but even a simple traffic ticket is considered an arrest.  Even a jaywalking ticket for $5 is an arrest.

Plus, they will use the word "criminal" as much as they can to give their site a little more shock value.

As far as stopping this, I'm sorry but since it's a matter of public record, I don't think you can.

  6. Actually it clearly states on the web sites the traffic offenses are present and that these are not criminals.  These are public records available for any one to see here and at the county or state the record is from.
