I found out, the owner deleted its account & no owner of this group & i was sent this group before?

How do you go about it? with no owners? un mod for good? when the owner has no account ? link above.

A lot of owners (of should I say Yahoo Users) just create groups and then abandon them....leaving them an open door for spammers.

You say you were sent this group. What exactly were you sent - an invite or what?  I noticed you posted a question about this same group earlier (Where did this group came from? It was sent to me,?)

Do you mean your want to join the group and cannot because the owner has left the group and there are no moderators to approve your membership?  Or do you want to take over the group?

since it's a public group I assume you want someone to be able to make changes- if there is no owner or moderator with those priviledges to do so, there is nothing that can be done. groups with no owner will more than likely be deleted during group clean up prior to beta's release-

best thing is to join another group with active owners- or create a new group.
