I found out i was preg on the 21st and on the 27th (few days ago) I started bleeding bright blood. ?

Question

So I went to the E.R. with my BF and they did a ultra sound then later the Dr came in and told me i had a "threatened abortion"

also while i was in the ultrasound room they weren't able to see a baby yet. could it been to early?

Anyone else been through anything like this?

I called my OBGYN that i have not yet been into see since the day of my positive test results, and they scheduled me for Sept 18th. 2 weeks away. Do you think i will be ok till then? im not bleeding much at all and have very lil or no cramping at all.

ive had one other pregnancy prior to this one and it ended as a "blighted ovum" in febuary. they immediately did a D&C.

there was no baby as well in that ultrasound and the reason we found that diagnoses was because i was bleeding as well.

The same thing happened to me. I found out i was pregnant on July29th. On August 2nd i started bleeding bright red blood and i went to the emergency room. The doctors did blood test to double check i was indeed pregnant. The ultrasound tech did not see a embryo. (but they said it could be to early) The doctor said i had a "threaten miscarriage" and told me to go home and he put me on bed rest. A few hours later the bleeding got worse and i went back to the hospital the next morning. The doctors tested my HCG hormone again and my hormones was decreasing. I suffered a miscarriage that day. I really think you should go to the emergency room and have you HCG hormones checked.
