I found out on monday that i had a missed miscarriage, what happens now?

i am at 11 weeks and the baby died at 5 weeks, I'm booked in for another scan on 2nd september-2 weeks wait-, i still feel very pregnant.

what are the chances of me passing the baby before the appointment?what should i expect? I'm very confused as i didn't really take in what the midwife was telling me as i was in shock.

My girlfriend had the same thing happen, baby stopped growing at 11 weeks (after hearing the heartbeat) and baby was officially declared 'dead' at 13 weeks.  She was scheduled for a D&C in two weeks time, but she passed it on her own at home 6 days before the D&C.

this is zorros daughter and the same thing happened to me whwn i went for my 3 month chesck up and they scheduled me for an appointment 2 weeks later and they did a dnc where they remove the baby. they put me to sleep so i didnt feel any thing and it was a little worse then period cramps for like 2 days later but i thdink the chances of you passing the bsby are pretty slim i hope this helps and im sorry about your loss......
