  1. every women goes through birth different, you wont know until you go through it your self, there are meds out there you can take to ease the pain, best of luck! and congrats

  2. its not that bad. i've had 2. my first i had an epidural because i was tired and didnt have the energy to get him out and my second i had no pain relief for and it isnt that bad....the v****a dilates to 10cm and the babys head squishes together to help baby out....it hurts but it isnt that bad....just dont think of it until it comes to it. then you yourself can say weather it hurts or not x

  3. well you gotta baby thats like wide as half a ruler coming out of a tiny hole about the size of a dime, so yea i guess it hurt pretty bad

  4. you can have a pain free birth and delivery if you choose an epidural.  If you have your baby at a hospital then most likely you will have an epidural, because the doctors and nurses push laboring women to get them rather than coaching them through the contractions.  Now if you opt to have your baby at home with a midwife, then yes, birthing hurts, like nothing you can imagine.  However, your midwife can help you find strength to make it through, and also knows tricks about how to get the baby out faster.  This is called a natural birth, without medicated intervention, and this type of birth prevents a lot of complications that epidurals can cause.  Even though there is pain, it's not pain you as a woman can not handle, and women who do natural births find it to be very fulfilling in the end.  I hope this helps.  Take care.

  5. of course it hurts but you will have a baby at the end of it will be worth it. plus there are pain medications to help you cope if you want them during labor

  6. Yes, however the severity of the pain varies from woman to woman and pregnancy to pregnancy.

  7. Lol of course birth hurts! Even with an epidural. The only way your not going to feel a thing is if your totally asleep which only happens in an emergency/rush c-section.

  8. Of course it hurts, but afterward most people feel it wasn't as bad as they expected. I mean, its one  physically painful thing that something great comes out of!

  9. Of course birth hurts, pushing a baby out of your v****a, its gonna hurt!!

You can have meds to numb the pain though.....

  10. Just make sure you are mentally prepared for it, you have people around you who have positive energy. Maybe play some relaxing music during delevery. And think happy thoughts! Also pain killers help. But like other people are saying, it depends on the pain tollerancey. But it also depends a lot on metal prep. Remeber to breath. Deep breaths always help. And make sure that if they think you might rip your vaginal area, that they cut you instead, maybe a few weeks before delivery. Because the cutting doesn't hurt as bad as the ripping, and it heals a lot better and faster. If you are prepared, it won't be that big a deal. You will probably look back and think "oh. that wasn't as bad as I imagined" But everyone handles it different. Try asking people in your families how they handled it.

    Good luck!!! And congrats!!

  11. Of course it hurts.

Have you not seen any movies??

  12. well if you have a drug free birth, with no pain relief then yes my dear, it hurts something terrible.

if you have an epidural, then you dont feel a thing!
