  1. it depends on the lease that you sign.  I usually see that everyone on the lease would need a co-signer if their credit isn't up to the renal agencies standards.


  2. You would probably only need one cosigner. But if your credit is good enough then you may not even need a cosigner.

Hmmm.  You'd probably have to ask the specific landlord what he needs.  Do they have jobs?  Are they students?  I would think that if one parent or other credit-worthy adult would guarantee the rent gets paid and the place not trashed, that should be sufficient.  But as the parent of 2 former teenage boys, I wouldn't want to be that adult.
