I found out who keeps stealing my things, but...?

i also found out that this guy has dangerous gangster connections. i don't have solid evidence, but it's through other people.

how do i tell him to stop stealing my things?

or how would i go about fixing the situation?

Buy those UV marker pen kits.  Mark everything in your home that's not nailed down.

Leave the marker pen kit on show and next time he's round say "Hey, have you seen these?  They're great!!  I just UV marked EVERYTHING I own, so if it gets stolen and the Police find it, I'll get it back".  

Mind, if he does have serious ganster connections (of the kind that would make Tony Soprano wince), this might not hold much sway.....

you need to give more info. what kind of things? like a roommate stealing your coco-puffs or someone breaking into your house and taking your tv? what kind of gangsters? suburban 14 year olds who say "yo" a lot or genuine tough guys with criminal records and guns?

I would start by putting a lock on the door. Deny this person access to your space. If he is coming in via "friends" or roommates the you all need to have a chat. If that doesn't work I suggest you either remove ALL your belongings to a movie scene quality thats-a-lot-of-locks on a door room, or you find a new place to live.
