I found p**n on my computer, and it's my dad's?!?

i have a laptop i use, but i sometimes go onto our desktop/family computer. i was on this desktop computer when i saw a "download helper" on the top of the screen.i clicked it and a list of sites, incl p**n sites came up. whoever installed this program cleared all the history, but there was a "downloaded folder." i clicked it and all these naked pictures appeared. i closed it and now i don't know what to do!! i know it must be my dad's. and i know that p**n can mess up computers. it would be really awkward if i ask him about it. i know it's his business, but like i said, i don't want our computer to crash......

Adult p**n is viewed my ten of millions of people it's not going to destroy your computer just for looking at it or even downloading it.The only way p**n hurts your computer is if it's infected with Spyware or Trojans.  The p**n you seen was Adult correct?

well, if its just simple jpg's and such, he should be ok. UNless he's download via limewire or somehting where alot of times images are embedded with trojans, to open up holes in your security.

otherwise i wouldnt' worry to much. although akward it shoudl be ok :)

p**n doesn't do it.  it's the people who distribute the p**n that does it.  as long as he uses proper antivirus and spyware cleaners, it will be fine.  no worries.

p**n is not harmful for computers. Its normal avi, wmv video files; same file formats that are used in donald duck cartoons.

If he is downloading from safe, spyware-free sites then your computer will be fine. .Its just like downloading other movies.
