I found this baby bird in the rain but i dont know what to feed it how can i find out?

ok use a syng and soak dog food in water and put a little bit of sugar in the water with it. once it soaks put it into the syng and squeeze it out just a little onto the birds beak. then if he likes it he will let you feed it to him. call a wild life rehabitor or a bird specialist as soon as you can (look in a phone book). its so hard to let them go, because you grow such a bond, but its a must!

Hey, I don't know how much it will help you but when i found a baby bird, i had the same problem so i took it to the vet and he told me that she was too small and that she needed her mother to feed her or she wouldn't survive :( So i put her near other birds, i thought she would find her mother or someone might adopt her. i don't know how small your baby bird is, so i don't know if it's the same situation. Do yourself a favor...call the Humane Society and see if they'll take it off of your hands...they're much better equipped to deal with your little friend.

try feeding it bread crumbs. rip out some bread and put it slightly above the beak. MAKE SURE THE BREAD ISNT SALTY!!! have water nearby. to have it drink water, dip your finger into the water. put your finger above the birds beak and it should drink if thirsty. if none of these work, you may have to force feed it. HAVE AN EXPERIENCED PERSON FORCE FEED!!!!!!!!! (if neccessary)
