Exactly how it's spelt. I have no idea what it is and I want to know. On the bottom it says a herbal dietary supplement 25 vegetarian tablets. Is it a drug or something? Anyone hear of it before? I'm a vegetarian so it probably means it has no meat in it o.e So... what is it?

  1. Things like "Organic Ecstasy", "Drug-Free Marijuana", "Legal Shrooms" are sold in head shops, some alternative medicine stores, and Spring Break Towns.

They claim to be "safe, legal" ways to get "the same" high as marijuana/ecstasy/shrooms; they claim they will not show up on drug tests because they are just different enough from the real thing to be legal/not show up on a drug test, but not different enough to change the high.

Which is obviously not true.  Ecstasy, for example, is a mixture of chemicals (for example, Ecstasy pills contain heroin or methamphetamines), but the thing that makes it Ecstasy is MDMA, which show up on drug tests.  There is no "legal" substitute for MDMA, no "safe" way to take it, and all the components of Ecstasy will show up on drug tests.

Simply, all the claims of the "legal, drug knockoffs" are FALSE.  Why do they make and sell them then?  They are for people who are either scared to buy "real" drugs because it's illegal, people who have to take drug tests and want to get high without failling, or anyone gullible enough to think that if there truly was a legal, over-the-counter alternative for any of those drugs that it would still be enough of a secret to be sold freely at little T-shirt shops in Miami, South Padre, and Fort Lauderdale.

One more thing to keep in mind: the drug substitutes are potentially extremely dangerous.  They are not regulated by the FDA, which means that the manufacturers can pretty much put anything in that they want.  And you can "get high" off of certain over-the-counter drugs IF you take extremely unsafe amounts.  So if those pills have any effect at all, you could bet the farm it is NOT something that's good for your body.  Of course, the real drugs aren't either.

And yes, the vegetarian part means no meat, but if you ate a cow's p**p it wouldn't have any meat in it but that wouldn't make it a good thing to put in your body now would it?
