I found tiny little brown furry bugs in my apt. can anyone help me identify them?

They're tiny little brown bugs and kind of looks sort of furry or prickly... they can curl up into tiny little balls. Sort of like caterpillar. Doesn't have that many legs and has sort of like a beetle head. I found them on a pair of old soccer socks underneath my dresser. I think the old sock is where they're coming from.... what are they and if i just get rid of the sock and clean that area... will i be rid of them? please help... any information would be great. Thanks.

Sounds like what we call, sow bugs or pill bugs.  They like damp places.  Pick up everything off the floor and vacuum.  Move everything and vacuum under each piece before replacing. Then try to keep the area as dry as possible. If you see them outside, you can get a powder at any hardware, garden store, or even Walmart, that will do away with them. I wouldn't use it inside the bedroom though.  If your apartment is on the ground floor, it would be ok, to sprinkle it around the outside area.
