People are always mistreating me because I am different than them. I'm quiet and I usually stay to myself, but a few people in particular always find something to pick on me about. I really want to quit and find another job but I'm afraid I'll be miserable in another office. Help?

  1. QUIT RIGHT AWAY! no one deserves to be mistreated! Don't do something you hate! jobs are important so you must find one that you love. Also speak up and don't let ANYONE walk all over you. Go job hunting asap. I guarentee you will find a better job and you will be so happy that you quit your last one! good luck

  2. Don't listen to those ignorant people, and if they try to bully you don't let them; tell them to mind their own business, and grow up.  You can be yourself and that's fine.  You are a nice person regardless whether you are an introvert or extrovert, what matters is your good character.  So, you are a fine and nice person, just know that :)  I'm like that too, and currently I have a job I hate.  But, I'll continue searching, 'cause there are jobs that are nice to work at.  Don't stay in a job that you're miserable in.  That's where you spend the majority of your time, so it's gotta be a place you like, and if you search for it you'll find it!

also, after work plan to do something that you like and makes you happy that way you'll have something to look forward to (and it'll clear your mind from that horrible job)

  3. Your time will come - just remember that it is our differences that set us apart - if you leave they win! Stand up and say "Hey - I may be different but if I were any other way I wouldn't be me'. People just have the tendency to bully people who are meek and mild - A moment of being courageous enough to stand up for yourself could be worth a lifetime of change...
