I gave a resigning letter and my last day is this saturday, can they still fire me if i do a mistake?

I gave my letter of resigning to mcdonalds and i am getting out of there this saturday. If I do some mistakes that day since I have only work for a month and I am basically new, can they fire me.

In a regular job, if you have already given a resignation letter with the date you are leaving, they can't fire you.  They can ask you to leave early but they will have to pay you for your time up to the time you said you were leaving.  I have seen companies do this if they think a person is a bad influence, like if he's so disgruntled that he will try to convince others to quit.

    At McDonalds, though, I'm not sure that rule is in effect.  They treat all their workers as 'casual' employees, and they don't have the same rights as real career employees in a more serious job.

    In any case, if they 'fire' you, it can't go on your record as having been fired since you quit.  If you were to apply for another job and give McDonalds as a reference, and your new employer called McDonalds and they said you were fired, you could sue them!

  5. You've already resigned. All they could do is ask you to leave early.
