  1. By law in the state of PA. she is'nt old enough to have her name on a car tittle so just report her to the cops and get your title.

  2. Looks like you made the wrong choice by thinking a 17 year old should have the title to any vehicle.

And has she proven unfit to drive by anyone but you? Because your personal opinions won't matter at all if/when you try to take it to court or to the police.

  3. if the title is in your name just request a duplicate and reregister the car back into your name. If it is in her name you file a motion with the court since she is a minor.

  4. In Ca you can't have a title in your name if you are under 18.  We need some more information!! (State you live in, circumstances, how your daughter got the "title", etc...)

  5. Excuse me!! She is not an adult. You are still her parent.  If you name is on the title, go get the car. If not ..should of known better to give something to a child!

  6. Is the title in your name or in hers?  If it's in your name, go to your local DMV and apply for a duplicate.  If it's in her name there's probably little that you can do about it.  If she's unfit to drive, also check with your local dmv to see if there's a way to withdraw consent of her driver license.  In NY, the parent who gave consent for a young person to get their permit and license can in fact withdraw consent.  That winds up putting a suspension on their license and the young person in question must surrender the license and wait until they get consent again or until they are 18.  If she has no license, she can't drive a car, right?  Good luck!

  7. How can the title be in her name if she is a minor? If the title is in your name... and she wont give it back.. report the car stolen and once u tell her that u reported it.. she will return it to you really fast!

  8. report it as unauthorized use with the police,

i hear this sort of thing almost every day i work.

    email me for more info

  9. If the title is in her name, you're out of luck.
