I get a 50cent raise, is that much?

For example if I make $_1.25/hr already, how much more would that be?? I used the _ (underscore for a privacy reason).

Yes be happy you have a job but don't put up with c**p either. The best thing is to check on some websites which will provide you an average salary according to the work you do, you have to consider the type of work you do, the possible work hazards, education and experience. If you are making relatively less than the average salary then demand for a better raise if above average, then I would recommend to leave it alone. If they still are giving a hard time then look for a better employment and maybe even go as far as reporting it to the labour board. If you have fellow employees that are in the same boat, see if they will do the same as well. Don't let those greedy employers take advantage of your hard work and devotion!
